Charles C. Bowman
Charles C. BOWMAN, 77, died at 12:05 p.m. Sunday at his home 1511 Bancroft avenue, this city. He had been seriously ill for the past several weeks. He had been a resident of this city for eight years.
Born in Kosciusko county, March 16, 1877, he was the son of William and Elizabeth (COOK) BOWMAN. He was married to Almeda FENSTEMAKER on August 12, 1905. She preceded him in death in June, 1953. He was a member of I.O.O.F. lodge of this city and the Masonic lodge of Elkhart.
Survivors are two brothers, Wilda F. BOWMAN, of Wabash county; Samuel BOWMAN, of Portland, Ore. and several nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home. Rev. Harry BAILEY will officiate. Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
