Grundy County Farmer a Victim of Appendicitis.
Thomas S. Alderson, a Grundy county farmer, died at his home three miles south of Edinburg at 7:30 Friday night of appendicitis. Mr. Alderson submitted to an operation but the infection had progressed beyond the state where relief might be obtained. The funeral was held at the Baptist Church in Edinburg Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Dowell, burial at IOOF cemetery. He was about forty years old.
The deceased leaves a widow and two children, a mother Mrs. S.W. Alderson of Edinburg, a number of brothers and sisters, among whom are Mrs. N.E. Turner of Edinburg, and Mrs. Collins of Jefferson township.
