CHESNEE, SC- Troy Walden Cartee, 71, of 903 S Alabama AV, died Monday, November 28, 2005. He was the son of the late Boyce L. and Hattie Blackwell Cartee. He was a auto technician at Roper Motor Company for approximately 20 years. He was a member of Piedmont Baptist Church.
He is survived by nieces, nephews, and enduring friends; Julia Hollifield, Mike Roper and family, and Becky Brannon all of Chesnee. He was predeceased by four brothers, Jessie Cartee, Hollis Cartee, Zeb Cartee, and Ralph Cartee; and six sisters, Ida Mae Clark, Audrey Ganger, Evelyn Riddings Culbreth, Lillian Roberts, Elsie Radford, and Margaret Ventura.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 1, 2005, at 12:00 p.m. at Piedmont Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Darrell Revels and the Rev. Alan Hood. Burial will be Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 1, 2005, in the cemetery following the service.
