JOSEPH H. BONNER, stock dealer, North Manchester, was born in Preble County, Ohio, April 3, 1842. He is the son of Joseph and Jane Bonner. He was reared on a farm and acquired a common school education. He was engaged in agricultural pursuits until 1872, when he en­gaged in the hardware trade with L. J. Noftzger at North Manchester. In 1881, this copartnership relation was dissolved, and he engaged in the stock trade, buying live stock, and shipping to Buffalo and Chicago. He was married in 1872 to Miss Nettie Krisher. They have three children- William, Harry and Blaine. Mrs. Bonner is a member of the Lutheran Church.
