Effie Mae Horren was born at Neosho, Newton County, Missouri July 3, 1875, and passed away at the Springfield Baptist Hospital, Springfield, MO, July 11, 1939. She was 64 years and 8 days of age at the time of her death.
She was married to John G. Horren in the year 1905. To this union was born one son, John T. Horren of Hugo, CO, who was present at the time of her death.
She leaves to mourn her passing, besides her husband and son, three brothers, Fred S. Baldwin of Portland, OR, Stephen C. Baldwin of New Salem, KS, and John H. Baldwin of Bellingham, WA, and a host of relatives and friends. One sister {Minnie E. Baldwin} preceded her in death several years ago.
She professed faith in Christ and was baptized in the Christian church at St. Francis, KS in 1928 and later moved her membership to the Christian Church at Bolivar, MO, in the spring of 1930 and have made their home on a farm near here ever since.
She was a devoted wife and mother and was a friend to all who knew her. Her greatest pleasure was in doing for others. She will be greatly missed by all, but our loss is Heaven's gain.
CARD OF THANKS
We are very grateful to all our friends for their many kindnesses in the illness, death, and burial of our dear wife and mother.
