Succumbs in Hospital
Mrs. Elsie Bell Ewing, 49 years old, 2609 East Fifth street, died at 6 o'clock last night in Freeman hospital where she was a patient two weeks.
Mrs. Ewing was born July 14, 1902, in Joplin and had lived here all her life. She was a member of the Forest Park Baptist church.
Surviving are her husband John Ewing; three sons, Bobbie Ewing, Gaylen Ewing, and Richard Ewing, all at home, two daughters, Nancy Ewing, at home, and Mrs. Mercedes Potter, Spring City; a brother Vincent Young, of North Main street; two sisters, Mrs. Cora Thomas of Webb City, and Mrs. Ora Beauchamp of Burlington, Iowa, and six grandchildren.
The body was received by the Steve Parker mortuary.
