George Andrew Mullins was born on March 25, 1928 to parents Corbett and Ida Mullen in Braggs, OK. On December 11, 2009 at the age of 81 years, 8 months and 16 days, George quietly left this world to join his loved ones in heaven.
George was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Iva Marie Mullins; son Jerry Mullins; grandson Johnny Bolin; father and mother Corbett and Ida Mullen; brother Obie Mullen and sisters Virgie Mullins Spears (Click on: Virgie Mullen Spears) and Florence Lipe.
George is survived by two sons, Charles of Rowlett, TX and Jimmy of Webbers Falls; two daughters, Virginia Davis of Webbers Falls and Wilma Bolin of Tulsa; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandson; two brothers, J.D. Mullen of California and Charles C. Mullen of Webbers Falls; two sisters, Dorothy Fowler of Oregon and Ima Hodges of California; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
George was a lifelong resident of this area. He retired from Southern Ice in Muskogee, OK. After retiring George found plenty to keep him busy with his cows, garden and rent houses.George was a quiet spoken man who was good and fair to everyone, always willing to lend a helping hand to those who needed it, his family, friends and even his renters when they were having a hard time.
George was a man of his word, a kind person with a soft heart for little children. He was loved and respected by many and will be missed very much.
