RICHARD EDWIN - Age 77, of Napoleon, passed away peacefully at Allegiance Hospice Home on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 with his family at his side. Richard (Dick) was born in Romulus, MI on April 27, 1932, the son of Roy Napoleon Cottrell and Irene Susan Hoffman. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Beverly Jean (Monk), whom he married in Detroit, MI on September 16, 1950. He is also survived by his children, Richard (Ruth) Cottrell of Jackson, Cindy (Robert) Charlton of Saline, Nancy (Kelvin) Feldkamp of Bridgewater, Karen (Tim) Wilson of Manchester, Amy (Mike) List of Napoleon; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one brother, Bill (Shirley) Cottrell of Southgate. Dick graduated from Henry Ford Trade School in 1950. He worked as a pipe fitter at the Dearborn Rouge complex, and at the Wayne Assembly Plant as a foreman, general foreman, and superintendent. He retired from Ford Motor Company in April 1984 after over 34 years of service. Mr. Cottrell is at the WATSON FUNERAL CHAPEL where funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. with Michael D. Mason officiating. According to his wishes, cremation will follow the service. Inurnment will take place at Chapel Cemetery, Parma, MI at a later date.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
