MURPHY FUNERAL
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Newcomerstown M.E. church for Simeon Murphy, 69, of Newcomerstown, who died Monday morning at 8 o'clock at the state hospital at Massillon.
Mr. Murphy's death was due to pneumonia. He was admitted to the state hospital last Friday. Since he suffered from influenza early this winter his mind had been affected.
Mr. Murphy was a house mover. He was born and reared east of Newcomerstown at Murphy's Hollow.
He is survived by his widow and several children. Burial will be made in the Newcomerstown cemetery.
