Cleo Allgire, 54 years old, of 160 Bonita, died at 10 o'clock yesterday morning of a heart attack. An Amarillo resident for the past four years, previous to that he lived in and around Panhandle for se3veral years.

He was born Feb. 23, in Winn City [sic], Ill.

Survivors include: the wife, Mrs. Mabel Allgire, Amarillo; three daughters, Mrs. Susan Lovica Unfried, Baltimore, Mrs. Ila Nellretta Harden, Norfolk, Va., and Mrs. Pearl Evelyn Hammons, Amarillo; and three brothers, Van Allgire, Amarillo, Herman Allgire, Gridley, Cal., and Lester Allgire, Bellville, Ill.

Other survivors are seven sisters: Mrs. Beatrice Corrigan, and Mrs. Eunice Lear, both of Wilmington, Cal., Mrs. Ila Shane, East St. Louis, Ill., Mrs. Stella Molt, Jeff, Ill., Mrs. Leah Kirkpatrick, Quincy, Ill., Mrs. Delia Dennis, Bellville, Ill., and Mrs. Laura McClasson, Cisne, Ill.

Funeral arrangements are pending at Blackburn-Shaw.

Funeral services for Cleo Allgire will be held at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in First Methodist Church at Panhandle. Rev. James Todd, minister of First Christian Church of Panhandle, will officiate.

Full military services will be conducted at the graveside.

Pallbearers will be Louis Penn, Ray Chapman, A.J. Harvey, Ed Longinacre [sic], Alex Sullivan and Emmett Russell.

Burial will be in Panhandle cemetery, under direction of Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Home of Amarillo.

Mr. Allgire, 54 years old, of 160 Bonita, died Tuesday morning of a heart attack. He had been an Amarillo resident for the past four years, and before that, had lived in and around Panhandle for several years.

A native of Winn City [sic], Ill., he was born Feb. 28, 1894.

Surviving relatives include the wife, three daughters, three brothers, and seven sisters.

PANHANDLE - Special) - Funeral services for Cleo Allgire, 54, will be held Sunday afternoon from the First Methodist Church of Panhandle, with the Rev. James Todd, pastor of the First Christian Church, officiating.

Burial will be in the Panhandle cemetery, where military rites by the Kit Carson American Legion Post of Panhandle will be held.

Pallbearers will be: Louie Penn, Ray Chapman, A.J. Harvey, D.E. Longanacre, A.A. Sullivan, and T.E. Russell.

Allgire, who was born Feb. 23, 1894, in Wayne City, Ill., came to Panhandle after the first world war and married the former Mabel Pullen Feb. 12, 1925. He farmed near Panhandle until 1945, when he moved to Amarillo. He had been in ill health for some time and had been a patient in the eterans [sic] Hospital in Amarillo. He died Tuesday morning following a heart attack.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Lovica Unfried of Baltimore, Md., Mrs. Ila Hardin of Norfolk, Va., and Mrs. Pearl Hammons of Amarillo; by three brothers, Van of Amarillo, Herman of Gridley, Calif., and Lester of Belleville, Ill., and by seven sisters.
