Mrs. Abbie Belmore, a most popular lady and a resident of Golden for the past twenty-five years, passed away at her home in this city Tuesday morning at 6 o’clock. She was about 69 years of age. Abbie McClinton was born in St. Stephens. New Brunswick, where she grew to womanhood and was married there to Oscar Belmore in 1895. Their first home in Colorado was at Idaho Springs. Later they moved to Golden where they have since resided and where Mr. Belmore died about seven years ago. Mrs. Belmore was a member of the Presbyterian church, a member of the of the Relief Corp. She is survived bv one sister Mrs. Bessie Thornton of East Weymouth. Mass., who is expected to arrive here Saturday, and one brother, W. R. McClinon of Balboa. Calif. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 at the Presbyterian church under the direction of Woods & Sanders. Interment will be in Golden cemetery.
