Martin Ommundson Finnestad, 82, of 3211 DeWoody Lane died Friday (Jan. 19, 1973) in Long Beach, Calif. Born Aug. 14, 1890 in Stavanger, Norway, he had lived here since 1969. He was a member of Fruitdale Grange and past member of the Victorville, Calif. Masonic Lodge and the Elks Lodge in Santa Monica, Calif.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Hull and Hull Chapel with the Rev. Hugh W. Gould officiating. Burial will be in Hawthorne Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include a stepson, John S. White, Westminster, Calif., a stepdaughter, Marjorie Franz, Okinawa, a brother, Olav, Portland; a sister, Martha Bechmann, Stavanger; a niece Winifred Webster, Huntington Park, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and nine great - grandchildren.
