Also surviving were two sons, A.J., Lima, and Luke, Celina; six daughters, Mary Catherine Wilson, Oxford, Betty Spieler, Albuquerque, NM, Eva Ronfor, Boonton, NJ, Madgalene Niemer, Omaha, NE, Rose Mary Albietz, Cincinnati, and Margaret McCarthy, Snyder, NY; and seventeen grandchildren.
He was founder and president of Celina Steric Acid Company, a member of the city council and board of public affairs for many years and was president of Citizens Banking Company from 1942 to 1955.
Funeral services were held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Rev. Marcellus Fortman officiating.
