Martha Anna TOMLINSON
Graveside services for Martha Anna TOMLINSON, age 85, of Elmore City, were held Monday, November 4, 1996 at 10 a.m. in the Elmore City Cemetery with Rev. Bruce McCray officiating.
Interment was in the Elmore City Cemetery under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home.
Martha Anna TOMLINSON was born on July 16, 1911 to Virgil and Celia Smith NESMITH in Olustee, Okla. She passed away on Friday, November 1, 1996.
Mrs. TOMLINSON was a life-long resident of Elmore City. She was a devoted homemaker and mother. Her hobbies included sewing, needlework and quilt making.
She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church and is remembered by her friends and family as a person of very strong moral character.
Mrs. TOMLINSON is survived by: two sons, Billy R.TOMLINSON of Enid, Okla.; Geary M. TOMLINSON of Elk City, Okla.; two daughters, Phyllis A. HAYES of Lindsay,; and Judith J. JOHNSON of Elmore City; one brother, Leo NESMITH of Elmore City; two sisters, Jane Massagee of Duncan, Okla.; and Gladys Stephens of Ryan, Okla.; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by her husband, William Trig TOMLINSON in 1959.
