Amanda C. Williams was born November 12, 1854, died at Olney February 6, 1920, aged 66y2m24d.

She was married to Charles H. Wilson May 12, 1872 near Lewisport, KY. To this union were born six daughters; Mrs. H. A. Nicholas of Olney, Mrs. Al Foster of Washington, IN, Mrs. Ada Stone of Dutton, Montana, Mrs. Rose Burnett and Mrs. Florence Corder of Rockford , Wash. and Mrs. May Meeks deceased.

She with her husband moved to Calhoun, Richland County, in 1874 and lived there continuously until 1910 when they moved to Dutton, Mont, residing there until November 1915, when they came back to Illinois, and her husband
s death occurred December 3, 1915

After her husband's death she made her home most of the time with her daughter, Mrs. H. A. Nicholas. She united with the Calhoun M. E. church soon after coming to Illinois.

In later years she became an invalid.

She leaves 28 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers.

Burial was in the Calhoun cemetery with Rev. W. L. Cunningham officiating.
