Charles Calvin Thomas "C.T."Jr. was born January 13, 1923 in Mountaindale a son of Charles "C.T." Sr. and Mary Margaret Rice of Mountaindale and was the husband Margaret V. Yinger Stull, his wife of 54 years whom he predeceaes.

Charles was a member of the Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church and sang with the chior.

After graduating from Frederick High School in 1940 and attending and graduating from Bliss Eletrical School, he served with the US Army during World War II, in the European theater, including the Battle Of The Bulge.

Charles was employed by the C&P Telephone Co. from which he retired after 43 years of service there.

He was a member of the Walkersville Voleenteer Fire Co., where he served as president, secretary, director and chaplain and an honorary life member.

He had also served as a town commisioner for Walkersville.

Besides the Walkerville Fire Department he was a member of, the volwwteer Rescue Co, Veterans Of Foreign Wars Post 6658, Emmitsburg, Glade Valley Lions Club, The Yellow Springs Band, C&P Pioneers,Aire 1067, Eagles of Frederick, AMVETS post 2 and the American LegionPost 11 0f Frederick.

At the time of his death, Charles was partiscipating with Walkersville Senior Citizens and Daybreak.

Throughout Charles life he was an avid musician, as his father had been befor him,playing bass and drumswith many local groups.

He enjoyed hunting and watching local and national sports.

In addition to his wife he is survived by four children, Myra Andersopn and husband Larry of Evergreen, colorado, Mark Stull and wife Cindy of Walkersville, Sally Miller and husband Joseph of Keymar and Andrew Stull of Walkersville, six grandchildren, Grant Anderson and wife Jennifer of Denver, Amy Stull and Darin Stull of Walkersville, Nicholas and Michael Miller of Keymar.

He is also survived by two sisters, Margaret S. Stauffer of Yellow Springs and Ruth E. Ridder and husband Herbert of Ellicott City.

Funeral at the Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Rev. Beverly D. Lange officiating, Musical selections "Just a Closer Walk With Thee" and "Amazing Grace" were sang. Pallbearers were Don Myers, Bob Campbell,Marvin Houck, John Poole, Norman Dutrow and Dannie Stansburry and honorary bearers, Bill Myers, Andy Rahochik and Mike Martin, with internment in Glade Cemetery, Walkersville, Stauffer funeral directors.
