Surviving is a daughter, Suana Belle Howard, Chillicothe, 2 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins and special friends, Cheryl Bowling and Mary E. Roll, both of Chillicothe. Her parents and a sister preceded her in death.
Mrs. Howard was a retired employee of US Shoe. She was a member of Orchard Hill Church of Christ, and served as a volunteer with Medical Center Hospital Guild for 15 years. A veteran of the US Navy, serving in WW II, she was a life member of DAV Chapter 18, a charter member of the Women in Military Service Memorial, the WAVES National Association, a life member of the US Navy Cryptlogical Veterans Association, The North Coast Unit 21 of the Navy Women of Ohio and a charter member of Rolling Thunder Chapter 3, Chillicothe. She was also a member of the Ross County Senior Citizens and was a bowling enthusiast for 66 years.
Services were entrusted to Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home of Chillicothe, Ohio.
