MOULTON- George Russell Jeffreys, 44, of Moulton 1, died today at 4 a.m. in Lawrence County Hospital after being ill for one week.
Mr. Jeffreys, who farmed, was a native of Lawrence County and had lived here all his life.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at Monk City Church, Burial will be in Heflin Cemetery, Elliott Funeral Home of Moulton directing. The Rev. L.G. Lankford will officiate.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Louise Hood Jeffreys, Moulton 1; one son, Jimmie, Moulton 1; parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Jeffreys, Moulton 1; two brothers, Jake of Osawantomie, Kansas, and Jack Jeffreys of Moulton; four sisters, Mrs. Macy Moore, Chicago; Mrs. Irene Blankenship, Moulton 1; Mrs. Sue Dunlap of Moulton 4; and Mrs. Ruby Bostick, Courtland 1.
Pallbearers will be Clyde Dutton, Kumpy Brewer, Bilbert Brewer, Troy Ashley, Leeman LouAllen, and Bus LouAllen.
