Graveside services for Mr. Penrose W. Reagan, 78, will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday, at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Ill.
Born Nov. 25, 1924, in Camden, N.J., he passed away Friday, Nov. 21, 2003, at Loyola Medical Center in Maywood.
Mr. Reagan was a Mayflower descendant and a 38 year resident of the Glen Ellyn and West Chicago areas.
He was a World War II POW, a member of the Air Corps 401st Bomb Group, a member of the Wheaton VFW and the Wheaton American Legion.
In addition, he was an avid golfer and duck hunter.
Penrose was the beloved husband of Irene (nee Cassin); loving father of Diane Dace, Penn and Douglas (Barbara) Reagan; devoted grandfather of Caroline (Dan) Mullin, Jennifer (Nick) Prosser and Penn Reagan; great-grandfather of Joshua Prosser; and dear brother of Marjorie (the late Joseph) Convery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. today, at the Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Road (one block east of Naperville Road), Wheaton.
