The wedding took place May 24 in the Wedding Bell in Yuma, Arizona. The ceremony was read by the Rev. D. Lillis of Yuma. The bride and groom were reared in Joplin and attended the schools here. Mr. Hemphill is stationed with the army air corps at Gardner Field, Taft, California. The bride was accompanied west by her father and sisters; A. L. Douglas, Mrs. Kermit [Jeanne] Gustafson, and Mrs. V. A. [Helen] Sowersby, who attended the wedding. The bride and groom are at home at 300 North Sixth street in Taft. ♥
