Tom Culver, youngest son of Sidney and Eliza Culver was born January 22, 1886, at the farm home in Cato Township and passed away Sunday, March 9, 1947 at the age of 61 years, 1 month and 15 days. He was united in marriage to Carrie Ann Mumby, January 20, 1909 at Howard City, and to this union was born six children, Mrs. Zora Shepard of Lakeview, Mrs. Lepha Wright of Rodney, Mrs. Vivian Clark and Mrs. Lora Castle of Lansing, sons, Fay of Grand Rapids, and Orin at home. Surviving besides the widow and children are eight grandchildren, a stepson, Bertram Butler of Grand Rapids, and three neices, Mrs. Zora Pohl, and Miss Lena Smith of St. Johns, and Mrs, Irma Ewing of Vermontville. Burial in Cato Cemetery.
