Christie L. Graham, 75, of Sioux Falls, died Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls.
Christie Louis Graham was born June 4, 1934 at Sioux Falls, SD to Okie and Katherine (Allen) Graham. He grew up in Sioux Falls where he received his education, graduating from Washington High School. Following high school, Christie began his career as a truck driver, most recently driving for John Morrell & Co. retiring in 1998 with more than thirty years of driving.
He was a member of the American Legion and the Moose Lodge. In his spare time, Christie enjoyed watching NASCAR as a hobby.
Grateful for having shared his life are his children, Robert Graham, Carrie Freeman, Jeff Graham, and Lorri (Todd) Steffan, all of Sioux Falls, SD; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and one brother, Edward (Lynn) Graham, of Hendricks, MN.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Allen Graham; and a great granddaughter, Kara.
Memorial services will begin at 10:00 am Friday at Miller Funeral Home, Main Avenue location. Visitation with the family present will be from 6:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
