ENGLUND
Dorothy Englund was born in Sweden on July 27, 1886, and passed away on December 2, 1971 at Altadena Community Hospital near Pasadena, Calif., at the age of 85 years.
She lived in Lucas County until 1921 when she moved to California to make her home. She engaged in the art of dressmaking as her life's work, which she carried on for over 40 years.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Mrs. Hannah Englund of Chariton; 1 nephew Edwin Larson of Chariton; 2 nieces, Miss Ellen Larson of Chariton and Miss Evelyn Englund of Minneapolis, Minn.
Prayer services were conducted by Pastor Peter Larsen at 1:15 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 7, 1971 at the Beardsley-Fielding Funeral Home, with graveside services held at 2 p.m. at the Derby Cemetery.
