Pearl was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, J.B. Ward; daughter, Ella Ann Ward; grandson, Eddie S. Ward Jr.; and four brothers, John Henry Richie, Squield Miller, Roosevelt Miller and Billy Jack Miller; and three sisters, Jane Woodard, Ruby P. McMullin and Lorine Sowels.
Pearl is survived by her son, Eddie (Irma) Ward Sr.; daughter, Glennie Ward; three grandsons, Sebastian Klemm of Ansbach, Germany, Jefferey L. Ward and Johnathan B. Ward; a cousin, John Akins; and two nephews, Elder Coy Malone and Jimmy Ball Sr.; two nieces, Bonnie Brooks, all of South Bend, and Lillie P. Copeland of California; along with a host of great-nieces, nephews and friends.
Pearl, also known as "Mother Ward," was a member of Faith Temple C.O.G.I.C. where she served under its founder, the late Supt. A.J. Milon. It was there she worked faithfully on the Mothers Board, Hospitality, Teacher of the Home & Foreign Mission.
