Doris is survived by daughter, Dorothy Ann (Goldschmidt)Fitzpatrick (Mrs. Jack Fitzpatrick) of Bristol, IL; 2 sons, James (Cathy) Goldschmidt of Valparaiso, and John (Karla) Goldschmidt of Hobart. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 2 stepchildren. In addition, Doris is survived by 1 sister, Norma, Mrs. Raymond Sauerwein of Marissa, IL; and 2 brothers, Robert (Lauris) Dickey of Marissa, IL. and Wayne (Jeanne) Dickey of San Diego, CA.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband, John. Doris was a member of the Ainsworth Deep River Volunteer Fire Dept. Auxiliary and was a volunteer at the Lutheran Home.
Funeral services were held Thursday, 4 December 1997 at 11:30 a.m. from the Crown of Life Chapel at the Lutheran Retirement Village with burial in Calumet Park Cemetery.
