Sikeston - Funeral service for Clara May Bledsoe of Sikeston, will be held today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel here. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Bledsoe, 82 years old, died Sunday at the Clearview Nursing Center here.
She was born May 24, 1914, at Chaffee, the daughter of John Franklin and Milbrey Collins Little. She and Roscoe Bledsoe were married in 1934, at Sikeston. She had been a presser at the Sikeston Laundry.
Survivors include a son, Vernon Bledsoe; two daughters, Sug Jones and Sherrill Karnes; a stepdaughter, Clara Starnes; two sisters, Jewell Taylor and Dollie Brown; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, daughter, four brothers and two sisters.
