Former C&S Airlines Mechanic Dies In Georgia
Services for Thomas Herring Langston of East Point, Ga., an electrician for Delta Air Lines will be at 2:30 this afternoon at the Cockrum, Miss., Methodist Church. Burial will be at the Cockrum Cemetery by Brantley Funeral Home of Olive Branch, Miss.
Mr. Langston, who was 47, died Tuesday in Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta.
He began working for Chicago & Southern Air Lines here in 1950 and moved to East Point in 1954 after the Delta-C&S merger. He was a member of the board of Stewards of the First Methodist Church of East Point, treasurer and past president of its Fellowship Sunday Class and a member of its mens club.
Mr. Langston leaves his wife, Mrs. Evelyn Jackson Langston, and a son, Mark Langston, both of East Point, his mother, Mrs. Annie H. Langston, and two brothers, V. C. Langston and C. R. Langston, all of Cockrum, and a sister, Mrs. T. C. Ryan of Biloxi, Miss.
