Larry was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Archie I. and Anna (Peterson) Cranston. He and Dorothy Jean Richards were united in marriage September 9, 1944, in Mt. Morris. She preceded him in death January 20, 1988. Retired Chevrolet Metal Fab 1974 as Foreman in Production. Member of Lincoln Park United Methodist Church, a member and past master of Mt. Morris Lodge #535 F&AM, Mt. Morris Chapter #474 OES, Bay City Consitory, Elf Khurafeh Shrine, Knights Templar. Larry directed his own orchestra playing throughout the area during the 1940' & 1950's and more recently the Shrine Band. He served in U.S. Army during WWII and the Naval Reserve during the Korean conflict.
