Nancy O. Turner, widow of Capt. George T. Turner, aged 89 years, died Jan. 28 at her home here. She was born in Prospect and came here 45 years ago. She is survived by seven children: Milford Turner, Bucksport; Mrs. Hattie Kenney, Rockport (with whom she made her home); Mrs. Lilla Allard, Spruce Head; Mrs. Jennie Simmons, Brunswick; Willard Turner, Brooklyn, N.Y.; George Turner, Worcester, Mass. and Mrs. Nana Wentworth, Rockport; also 24 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; four nephews and one niece. She was a member of the Littlefield Memorial Baptist Church of Rockland and Fred A. Norwood, W.R.C. Funeral services were held Monday at the Russell Funeral home, conducted by Rev. Charles A. Marstaller and Rev. F. Ernest Smith. Interment will be in Sea View cemetery in the Spring. The bearers were four grandsons, Alfred Simmons, Mulford Simmons, Maurice Turner and Kenneth Wentworth.
