Pamela D. (Lasher) Shepard-Malarkey, 45, of Manor Drive, Ford City died Monday, Sept. 6, 2004 in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, East Franklin Township. She was born July 17, 1959 to William and Isabel (Crissman) Lasher. Formerly, she worked as a licensed practical nurse. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ford City. She enjoyed spending time with her dog. Survivors include one son, Zachary Shepard at home; one daughter, Kristen Shepard at home; her parents of West Kittanning; one brother, William K. Lasher of Ford City; one nephew, Michael Lasher of Ford City; Robert Malarkey and Rich Galzerano, both of Ford City. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Marc Shepard; maternal grandparents, Henry and Bernice Crissman; and paternal grandparents, Thomas and Lena Lasher. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, Inc., 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning. Additional visitation will be held from noon Friday at the First Baptist Church, Ford City until funeral services at 1 p.m. with her pastor, the Rev. James Vincent, officiating and assisted by the Rev. Al Kearns. Burial will be Lawn Haven Burial Estates, East Franklin Township. The family requests memorial contributions may be made to the Deacons Fund at First Baptist Church in Ford City.
