Born October 02, 1906 in Greene County, Illinois, he was the son of Mary Elizabeth Bowers Logan. He married the former Elizabeth Hardwick Harrison in 1964 in Carrollton, Illinois.
Surviving are a brother, Roy Bowers, of Jerseyville; two half-sisters, Susie Crone and Mary Brennan, both of Jerseyville; and a half-brother, Russell Logan of Medora.
Casket Bearers were David Worthey, Gene Wagener, Francis Bridgewater, Paul Garrison, Orville Edwards, and John Hardwick, all of Carrollton.
Interment was in the Mr. Gilead Cemetery, southwest of Carrollton.
