MORGANTOWN - Alma Louise Barks, 86, of Morgantown died at 8:46 p.m. Feb. 17, 2007, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Butler County native was a homemaker. She was a daughter of the late Arthur Morgan and Era Ann Pearson McPeak and the wife of the late Bester Barks. Funeral is at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sandy Creek Baptist Church, where she was a member, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Tuesday at Jones Funeral Chapel. Online condolences may be made at www.jonesfune ralchapel.com. Survivors include a daughter, Linda Ford and her husband, Mike, of Bowling Green; two sons, Roy Barks and his wife, Rita, of Bowling Green and Curtis Barks and his wife, Connie, of Huntsville; six grandchildren, Sandra Riehn, Suzanne Hinchliffe, Rhonda Scott, David Barks, Roger Barks and Lora Barks; six great-grandchildren; four sisters, Velma Johnson of Alvaton, Mary Lagness and Betty Hudgins, both of Bowling Green, and Bernice Spencer of Nellysford, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
