She was born in Carter County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Charlie and Elizabeth Conley Tolliver.
Mrs. Franklin was a homemaker and a member of the Clearfield Tabernacle First Church of God. She enjoyed playing the piano, gospel music and spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William "Buddy" Alfrey who passed away in 1975, her second husband, Rev. Ardith Franklin who passed away in 1986 and six sisters, Jewell Reams, Opal Saunders, Ethel Eddison, Katherine Burns, Lorraine Tussey and Marie England.
Survivors include her daughter, Rebecca A. Dailey and her husband, Timothy of Winchester, one brother, Charles Tolliver, Jr. and his wife, Frances of Hitchens, four grandchildren, Tiffany Dailey, Erica Blair, Shane Dailey and Lindsei Gray, three great-grandchildren, Paxton Dailey, Hannah Blair and Hunter Gray and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
