Born in Pryor June 9, 1924, Mrs. Craig died Friday, July 5, 1985, at her home. She was a charter member of Gold Star Wives of America, Inc., and worked for Zebco for 25 years. She moved to Wagoner in 1980 and worked for Community Home Health Care and was a member of the First Baptist Church for five years.
Her husband, Coy C. Craig, was killed in Army action December 25, 1944, in the English Channel. He received the Purple Heart. A son, Lindy died at the age of 6.
Survivors include a son Benny, of Claremore; a daughter, Cheryl Craig, of Wagoner, two brothers, O. D. Brown of California and Jim K. Brown of Washington, D. C.; three sisters, Wayne Lingenfelter of Texas, Jean Harris of Tulsa and Jan Trail of North Carolina; three grandsons; and nieces and nephews.
