GAUTIER - Anthony Gerard "Jerry" Willis Jr., 44, died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2000, in Pascagoula.

Mr. Willis was born Oct. 28, 1956, in Moorehead City, N.C., and was a graduate of Pascagoula High School. He was a musician and guitarist and was employed with a number of bands in the Southeastern United States. He was a member of Singing River Baptist Church in Gautier.

He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony Gerard "Jerry" Willis Sr. Survivors include a daughter, Brandi; a son, Wesley; his mother, Mary Sue Atkins; his stepmother, Ann Willis; a sister, Stephanie; and four brothers, Stephen, Wayne, Christopher and Jody.

A graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Serene Memorial Gardens in Escatawpa. O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Gautier is in charge of arrangements.
