Graveside services for Gwendoline M. Hopkins, 76, of Rocky Ford will be held at 10:30 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery in Rocky Ford with Pastor John Knight officiating.

Mrs. Hopkins died July 29, 1999, at Rocky Ford.

She was born May 12, 1923, at Weston, Bath, England.

She married Harold Hopkins at Weston on May 30, 1945.

She attended the First Baptist Church of Rocky Ford, and enjoyed her family, home and gardening.

Survivors include son Harold Jr. (Vera) Hopkins of Aurora; daughter Joan (Jake) Woody of Colorado Springs; brothers Ken (Molly) Paines and Doug (June) Paines, both of Bath; brother-in-law Cecil (Anna May) Hopkins of Buckeye, Ariz.; sister-in-law Mary Henry of Lapwai, Idaho; grandchildren Dennis (Michelle) Hopkins and Jackie McFarlane, both of Aurora, Dean (Julie) Hopkins of Pueblo and John Woody of Colorado Springs; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters and four brothers.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Arkansas Valley Hospice, 118 W. Fourth St., La Junta CO 81050.

Arrangements are by Grooms Crematory and Mortuary of Rocky Ford.
