Mrs. Della Harmon, 84, a lifelong resident of the Calhoun community passed away Tuesday, Aug. 2, at the Golden Years Nursing Home in Olney, where she had been a patient for the last two years.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Curl of Mansfield and Mrs. Evelyn Leathers of Gibson City, two sons, Guy Harmon of Peoria and Vern Harmon of Bradford, one brother, William Conour of Decatur, ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Her husband Charles Harmon passed away in 1940.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon in the Chapel of the Olney Funeral Home with Rev. Leland Hooper in charge. Burial was in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
