Frances Booher Schumm, of Waco, Texas, passed away Sunday, Dec. 6, 2009, at Providence Hospital. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8, at Waco Memorial Park with Minister Kenneth Maddox officiating. Burial to follow. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room.

Frances was born in Waco, Texas, to the late Army Colonel Frank and Hattie Booher. She worked as a photographer and in the photography industry. Frances was a member of the Church of Christ. She lived most of her life in the Waco area, Irving, Euless, and Atlanta Ga., and for the last seven years in Aiken, S.C. then moved back to Waco in 2009.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Bernice Boyd; and sisters, Thelma Richmond and Estrella Ziegenbalg.

She is survived by sons, Stanley Christian Boyd and wife, Gayle, of Wills Point and Frank Elbert Boyd and wife, Maureen, of Flintstone, Ga.; daughters, Suzette Donaldson and husband, Greer, of Lorena and Carolyn Bernice Presley and husband, William, of North Augusta, S.C.; 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and brother, Sylvester Booher, of Riesel.
