Louise Griffin, 88, of Stephenville, a homemaker, died Thursday, December 3, 2009, at a local nursing home. Services will be at 2:00 pm, Sunday, December 6, 2009, at the Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Weldon Branham officiating. Burial will be at Smith Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Saturday, December 5, 2009 at Lacy Funeral Home.
She was born on December 2, 1921, to her late parents, Frances Uel Griffin and Lucy (Mefford) Griffin. She was a member of the Washington Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Harmon and husband, Norval, of Granbury and Pat Adams of Stephenville; one sister, Jenny Dorn of Grandbury; one brother, Travis Griffin of Stephenville; and four grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; ten great great-grandchildren;, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters, 1 son-in-law, Doyle Adams, and one grandson, Gary Ray Rasberry.
