BILOXI --- Yvonne Munster Bond, 82, died Wednesday, March 27, 2002, in Biloxi.
Mrs. Bond was born November 6, 1919 in New Orleans, LA. and she had been a resident of Biloxi for 57 years.
Mrs. Bond was a member of Nativity BVM, Gaynell Garden Club, Revelers Carnival Club. In her earlier years she worked for South Central Bell in New Orleans, LA. She was owner of Lamar's Grill in Biloxi and also worked for Dominic Fallo, city commissioner of Biloxi. She was the beloved wife of the late Lamar D. Bond Sr.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar D. Bond, Sr.; her sister, Delores M. Schoendorf and a brother, Marion Munster.
Survivors include three sons; Lamar D. Bond Jr. and wife Carol, of Ocean Springs MS, Louis D. Bond and wife Linda, of Vancleave, MS and Douglas L. Bond also of Vancleave; two sisters, Rose Mercier and Gloria Lechner both of New Orleans; nine grandchildren, Lamar D. Bond III, Lee Nathan Bond and wife Jennifer, Donald D. Bond and wife Heather, Ronald F. Bond, Michelle R. Bond, Lindsey R. Bond and Douglas L. Bond, Jr., Michelle Sykes and Tracy Sykes; five great-grandchildren; Marina R. Bond, Nathan Michael Bond, David J. Bond, Austin Sykes and Seth Sykes; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6 to 9 P.M. with Rosary at 6 p.m., at The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Biloxi, MS
Services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 29,2002, Howard Avenue Chapel.
Burial will be in the Biloxi City Cemetery, directed by The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi. Edition: TSH
