"Mrs. Ainsworth Dies Saturday at Batesburg. Mrs. Eliza Graham Ainsworth, 90, widow of Charles Franklin Ainsworth, dies Saturday [December 21, 1963 ] at the Miller Nursing Home in Batesburg. Mrs. Ainsworth was born in Denver, Colo., and was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church.

Survivors are two grand children [Charles Trabert Price and William Price] and three great-grandchildren. Funeral was conducted at 11a.m. Monday at St. Luke's Episcopal Church by Rev. Robert Long.

Internment was in Rosemont Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Nathaniel J. Davis, Fulmer Wells, Ed Westwood, Tom Westwood, Burley Fretwell, and Charles Whittle. Whitaker Funeral Home was in charge."

Eliza "Lidie" Blakeley Graham was born on March 4, 1873 in Chester, PA. She is the daughter of John Thompson Graham and Mary Elizabeth Blakeley. She was also a granddaughter of Thomas Graham and Rebecca Jane Thompson, great-granddaughter of Alexander Graham and Maria Spyker, and great great-granddaughter of Henry Spyker, and Maria Weiser. Henry Spyker served in the American Revolution.

Eliza was married on December 24, 1890 at Chester, PA to Hugh H. Price of Black Falls, Wisconsin. Hugh was a US Congressman. He was elected as a Representative for Wisconsin after the death of his father, United States Representative William T. Price. He served in this office from January 18, 1887 to March 3, 1887.

While living in Denver, Colorado, on January 4, 1895 they were blessed with a son, Thompson Price. They moved to Arizona in 1899. In February 1900 Eliza was appointed by the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution as the 1st State Regent for Arizona. She served as the State Regent from 1900-1902.

They moved back to Denver, Colorado, where Hugh passed away on December 25, 1904. He is buried at Fairmount Cemetery in Denver, Colorado.

On February 1, 1913 she married Charles Franklin Ainsworth, Esq., of Phoenix, Arizona. He died May 18, 1931 in Phoenix, and is buried in Los Angeles, California.

Eliza then moved to moved to New Berry, South Carolina in 1931, after Charles passed away, to be close to her son.
