George M. Jennings, 80, of Claremont, died Sunday at home after a brief illness.
He was born in Claremont township, November 29, 1875, the son of James C. Jennings and Anna Ferren. He was a lifetime resident of the area.
He is survived by a brother, Elmer of Bridgeport and four sisters, Mrs. Nell Walker and Mrs. Mabel Webber both of Claremont, Mrs. Nettie Newman of Bridgeport and Mrs. Nora Cutler of Lawrenceville.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at the Sivert Funeral Home in Sumner, with Rev. Donald Grolimund of Olney in charge. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery south of Claremont.
