Funeral for Carl William Norman, 65, of Hillsboro will be Monday, December 7, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Bro. Milton Burks officiating.
Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gadens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Norman, who died Friday, December 4, 2009, at UAB Hospital, was born September 28, 1944, in Winston County to Bill Norman and Ruby Irene Norman. He was a retired bus driver. He was a loving husband and father and a dedicated deer hunter. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Mears; one son, Gary D. Norman; two brothers, Charles James Norman and Terry Norman; and two sisters, Helen Norman and Ruby Jo Shelton.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Norman; two sons, Billy Norman of Courtland and Carl Norman Jr. and his wife, Lisa, of Texas; two daughters, Ruby Bruns and her husband, Terry, of Hillsboro and Tammy L. Saint and her husband, Carlton, of Danville; his mother, Flossie Mears of Town Creek; one brother, Freddy Norman of Florida; one sister, Patricia Mears of Town Creek; six grand-children, Wayne Norman, Ricky Bruns, James Bruns, Zach Norman, Will Norman and Ashley Norman; and two stepgrandchildren, Mark and Marissa.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Kelly, Jonas Hobbs, Ricky Bruns, James Bruns, Carlton Saint and Chris Millwood.
Honorary pallbearers will be Will Norman and Wayne Norman.
