Daniel Kitson was one of the first lawyers to locate in Wabash county. . Daniel Kitson was a man of varied activities, and besides being one of the first lawyers in the township, he served in various township offices, and as constable and justice of the peace and had a prominent part in republican politics and community affairs. In November 1872, he contracted a severe cold, while on his way to the polls, and died shortly afterwards. His widow survived him until 1888, and both now rest in the cemetery at North Manchester.
