Mrs. Sarah Frances Davenport Kennedy, widower of the late W. L. Kennedy and for many years a resident of Waverly died Sunday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Martin, of Anthony, Kan. Mrs. Kennedy would have been 70 years of age had she lived until the third of March.
Mrs. Kennedy is survived by the following children: Mrs. G. R. Bradley, Jacksonville; Mrs. Belle Brockman, Springfield; Dr. L. A. Kennedy, Modesto; N. E. Kennedy, Lewiston, Mont.; Mrs. L. B. Beard, Los Angeles; and Mrs. Harry Martin.
The following brothers and sisters also survive: W. N. Davenport, Orleans; D. D. Davenport, Alexander and J. T. Davenport and Mrs. Will Spainhower of Waverly.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Gillham Undertaking Parlors in Jacksonville with interment in Diamond Grove cemetery."
