I located an article in the Pensacola paper from Nov 19, 1905 stating that this gentleman passed away in New Orleans and that his body was returned to Pensacola for burial in St. Michael's Cemetery.

The following information provided by Kathy W. Johnson (#47014093):

Fernando Joaquin Moreno, born in Pensacola 5 Feb 1824 (Passport)although some records give 1822, and died in New Orleans 18 Nov 1905. He lived in Key West for a number of years being appointed vice-consulate at Key West for the government of France, elected in 1853 as mayor and was the US Marshall for the Southern District of FL in 1860. Please see memorial # 9526374 for "Theresa, the faithful servant of the Moreno Family". A wonderful tribute to this woman that seems to have spent her life taking care of this family and I think they probably taking care of her.
