Mrs. Ella Quibell Powell, 84, of 956 22nd died Sunday afternoon at the Dee Hospiatal.
Mrs. Powell was born Oct. 17, 1883, in Providence, Utah, a daughter of Joseph A. and Rebecca Newton Quibell.
She had lived in Ogden since 1902 and formerly resided in Providence and Woodruff, Utah.
On Aug. 10, 1904, she was married to John Joyce Powell in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died in June 1950 in Ogden.
She was a member of the 31st LDS Ward and formerly served as Sunday School and Primary teacher and Relief Society visiting teacher.
Surviving are four sons and two daughters, Merlin L. Powell, Hacienda Heights, Calif., Ralph N. Powell, Delore Powell, Miss Venette Powell, all of Ogden; Delvin Powell, Pinole, Calif.; Mrs. Joseph H. (Alice) Huelsman, Fairborn, Ohio; 15 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Martha Bryson, Providence.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Linquist and Sons Colonial Chapel with Bishop's Counselor Larry Price of the 31st Ward conducting.
Friends may call at the mortuary Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday until time of service. Burial in the Ogden City Cemetery.
