Frank Addams England III, MD, 58, died on December 4, 2009, at his home in Durham, N.C., with his wife and children at his side. Dr. England was a practicing cardiologist in Roanoke, Va., from 1991 until his unplanned retirement in April 2009. Throughout his career, his uppermost concern was his patients and their families, both physically and emotionally. He was wellloved and respected by all of his patients and the wonderful staff with whom he worked. He was preceded in death by his mother, Myrtis Walcott England; his father, Frank Addams England Jr., both of Greenville, Miss.; and his sister, Dexter England Johnston (Harvey), of Bowling Green, Ky. Dr. England left behind his loving family including his wife, Rayner, of Durham, N.C.; two daughters, Rayner Walcott England and Dexter England Meath (Peter), all of Durham; and a son, Frank Addams England IV (Megan), of Jacksonville, Fla. He also is survived by four grandchildren, Nancy Briana England, James Riley Meath, Cecelia Wade Meath, and Frank Addams England V; and a sister, Jo England Parker (Bill), of Cleveland, Miss.; and a brother, Perry N. England (Docia), of Greenville, Miss. A private family service was held to honor Dr. England and to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Dr. England's favorite causes, the Bradley Free Clinic, 1240 3rd St., SW, Roanoke, Va. 24016 or to the First Presbyterian Church, 1 John Calvin Circle, Greenville, Miss. 38701.
