Nicole Feinstein-Crews, 27, of Sunnyside, a baker and new mother, died yesterday at Richmond University Medical Center in West Brighton of pulmonary complications.

Born Nicole Feinstein in Manhasset, Long Island, she moved to Westerleigh with her family when she was twelve or thirteen and settled in Sunnyside two years ago.

The Susan Wagner High School graduate attended the College of Staten Island.

Mrs. Feinstein-Crews worked for five or six years for Costco, both in New Jersey and more recently at its New Springville outlet, where she was a baker.

She was thrilled when her son, Joshua, was born October 21 at RUMC.

"She had so many plans. Her only concern when she was sick was her baby," said her husband, Casey Crews. "She was very giving and very caring."

Mrs. Feinstein-Crews enjoyed making friends and family happy and giving them gifts on their birthdays and special occasions.

Surviving, along with her husband, Casey, and son, Joshua, are her parents, Andrew Feinstein and Marilyn Maresca; her three sisters, Arianna, Sara, and Ilana Feinstein; and her maternal grandmother, Angela Russo.

The funeral will be held on Saturday from the Casey Funeral Home, with a Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Teresa's R.C. Church, both Castleton Corners.
Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, West Brighton.
