Former wife of Jeremy Scott Rollins and mother of three.

Beautiful Monica was tragically murdered along with her five-year-old son, Dalton, at their home. She was due to deliver her third child when her beautiful life was stolen from her, and her precious unborn baby also succumbed to this horrific tragedy. Her third child survived. She is sorely missed and thought of every day.

Obituary:
Services for Monica Faye Rollins, 23, of Heflin were held Sept. 19 at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Chester Pesnell and Barry Day officiating.

Burial followed in the Cedar Creek Cemetery. Dryden Funeral Home was in charge of the services.

Mrs. Rollins died Sept. 16 at her residence.

She was born Feb. 16, 1979, in Anniston. Ms. Rollins was a native and lifelong resident of Cleburne and Calhoun counties. She was a former employee of Kiddie Castle Daycare in Heflin.

Survivors include her father, Donald Pritchett of Anniston; her mother, Dorothy Carroll of Heflin; a son, Aaron Scott Rollins of Heflin; two sisters, Dorothy Boswell of Talladega and Autumn Pritchett of Anniston; two brothers, Ray Boswell of Talladega and Thomas Blackmon of Anniston; two grandmothers, Pearl Carroll of Heflin and Ruby Pritchett of Oxford; and her grandfather, Buster Pritchett of Piedmont.

Pallbearers were Anthony Blair, Ben Carroll, Frank Carroll, Chris Pritchett, Jeremy Pritchett and Randy Pritchett.
